Braden was born In Palmer, Alaska on February 19,1992 at Valley Hospital. He weighed in at 7lbs 13oz. He was always a happy baby, always smiling. We had recently lost his grandpa to heart disease and he came along and brought us out of the darkness. He gave us hope.
He was the most interesting little thing to his big brother Kent. Kent would play with him and he would smile and laugh. He always wanted to hold him and touch him. The favorite thing was to push him in the swing. My favorite thing was at night when we would all sit on grandma's couch, Braden would be sleeping all snuggley warm on my lap and Kent would be all curled up against me and his baby brother. |

Braden, Mom & Kent met Big Larry for the first time. Larry soon became a very important part of his life. Larry also brought him a near twin brother, Little larry. These two would become Moms "partners in crime". During the next few months Braden would be a major force in our lives. We lost his great grandpa Chuck in June. I've always thought he saved us during those times by being our bright spot. Every one was so sad and he and his brother gave us reasons to smile.
One of his favorite people at this time was his great Aunt Anne, she would hold him for hours. If he ever needed to be rocked she was right there ready to rock. |

First plane ride. Braden, Mom Kent, and Aunt April flew to Montana for Great Grandpa Chuck's funeral service. Great grandpa passed away on June 14th of this year, another hardship that he and the other boys helped us endure. He started his many hour is the air early on. I should have known early on that he would love to travel, as a baby he was an excellet passenger. he slept alot and never cried.
In Montana he met all his Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and again was held non stop. He had alot of people who loved him from the start. |

Started school. Headstart in Wasilla, AK. I was so sad because he had grown so fast. His first teacher was Miss Maria. She would come to our house two times a week to learn and play with Braden and Mom. By this time brother Kent was in 1st grade and Little Larry was spending alot of time at grandma Alice's house, so it was just us most of the time. Braden loved when Maria came over, that's when he and I got to make all the cool art projects.
Sometimes when Kent was home and Miss Maria came over they got to make projects together. They made costumes for Thanksgiving. Sooooo cute. |

Mom and Larry bought our house on creekside lane. It was the perfect place for Braden to live, 2 blocks from a creek full of fish. By this time in his life he had become a true fishing enthusiast. We had lots of fun in that house. One of his favorite things was the hot tub on the deck. I would get bugged non stop sometimes so he could go "swimming".
He also gained his love of animals in this period. We had so many different critters and he just had natural love of all of them. His favorite was his gunie pig Squeaks. He had Squeaks for 4 years untill he passed away. Braden burried him on the hill behind the house. It was a very sad day for him.
It was also during this time that he became a cubscout. We had meetings every Tuesday night, Mom was the den mother which meant 8-10 seven to eight year olds. He earned beads and silver and gold arrows and the summer of 2001 we went to boyscout camp. He also found out he was going to have a baby brother. |

The whole falmily flew to Phoenix for Auntie Tammi and Uncle James' wedding. The boys looked handsome in their white shirts. Braden's job was to escort the flower girl down the isle. He did a great job even though at that point in his life girls were still "yuk". |
